On August 6th, 2021 St. Vincent and the Grenadines Teachers Co-operative Credit Union Ltd. (SVGTCCU) pledged its support to the empowerment of girls and women in sports in St. Vincent & the Grenadines, through its sponsorship of the Avenues United Football Club (FC), female team.
The Credit Union is particularly pleased to partner with Avenues United FC in providing a positive outlet for young women to participate in extra-curricular activities, and to assist with the development of sports in St. Vincent & the Grenadines.
The female arm of Avenues United FC is comprised of 20 young women between the ages of 12 to 23 years old with many of the young women on the team living in the community of Paul’s Avenue, which is home to the Headquarters of SVGTCCU Ltd.
