The Police arrested and charged Donte Boyea, 21 years old Unemployed of Diamonds Village with the offenses of Assault Body Harm, Resist Arrest and Damaged to property.
According to the investigations, the Accused allegedly (1) assaulted Eddie Warren, a police officer by scraping him about his body causing Actual Bodily Harm (2) did resist the arrest of PC Warren by pushing him in his chest he being a police officer acting in the due execution of his duty; (3) for without Lawful excuse damaged one (1) grey Police Regulation shirt value at $135. 00 ECC by pulling it with his hands- the property of the Government of St. Vincent and the. The incident occurred in Diamond on 29.10.21.
Boyea is expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer the charges.
