Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Thursday 11th November 2021 – The National Under 20 Men’s team returned from the Dominican Republic on Thursday 11th November after participating in Group C of the Concacaf Under 20 Men’s Qualifiers where they competed against Puerto Rico, Bermuda and Barbados.
SVG won their first match against Puerto Rico by default. They were defeated by Bermuda 3-0 in the second match and prevailed victorious against Barbados in their final match with a score of 2-0 on Wednesday 10th November 2021. This resulted in SVG being ranked second in Group C with a total of 6 points.
Oryan Velox scored in the sixtieth minute (60’) while Bisho Richards scored shortly after in the sixty eighth minute (68’).
Members of the National Under 20 Men’s team are completing their quarantine days at the Brighton Technical Centre.
The SVG Football Federation is proud of the efforts made by the entire team in this tournament bearing in the mind the many challenges that they faced being affected by Covid-19.
