    NTRC’s distribution of Computers to SVGCC continues

    On February 16, 2023, the NTRC donated a total of Twenty (20) Lenovo Idea Center 3 Desktop computers and four (4) Acer A515 Laptops to the the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College.

    The cost of these computers and laptops amounted to approximately EC$76,780 and were handed over to the Director of the colleges, Mr. Nigel Scott. The Handing over was done at the SVGCC Division of Nursing Education in New Montrose where ten (10) of the Desktop computers have been assigned.

    This donation follows a previous donation in May 2022 where forty-five (45) computers were donated to the SVGCC: thirty (30) were assigned to the Smart Lab at the Division Technical and Vocational Education (DTVE) which is currently utilised by ICT, Business and Engineering students for academic and research purposes and the fifteen (15) computers were assigned to the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies (DASGS) Library.

    These donations are financed by the Universal Service Fund (USF) as part of the SMART project. The contract for this project was signed on March 26, 2020.
