Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Brian Samuel of Redemption Sharpes.

Samuel,34, was shot and killed early Thursday morning while making his way to work.

Mellisa Samuel, the victim’s sister, spoke to ANN News and said that Samuel was a devoted father who would often make sacrifices for his children.

She said that her brother would often walk to work to save money so his children would be comfortable.

According to reports, Samuel was approached by a man who opened fire on him and fled the scene.

His sister said that her brother had a history of having altercations with persons and would often get in heated verbal fights with persons.
