A Bequia man was rushed to the mainland after receiving a chop wound to his head.

Reports reaching ANN are that the victim, Nigel Peters, was in a altercation with another man when he received the chop to this head.

He was rushed to SVG by the Coast Guard to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital where he is being treated.
