A prison officer stationed at the Belle Isle Facility is nursing wounds following an incident with a prisoner.
According to reports reaching ANN, the prison officer, Neverson and the inmate Kurt Stapleton got into an altercation earlier in the afternoon in the prison garden.
Upon returning inside the prisoner got his hands on a pair of scissors stabbed the officer multiple times about his body.
It is also reported that the prions officer suffered damage to his hands.
