    PM LEADS DELEGATION TO HISTORIC SUMMIT IN SAUDI ARABIA

    St. Vincent and the Grenadines. When the prayers were finished, His Majesty

    Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves is leading a ten (10) member delegation to Saudi Arabia for the historic first Caricom- Saudi Arabia Summit. The Summit, which is the first of its kind, will take place in the capital, Riyadh on Thursday November 16th 2023. Other heads of Government of the Caribbean Community and delegations are expected to be present in Riyadh for the Summit, to engage in substantive discussions on issues including enhanced cooperation and deepening diplomatic ties between Riyadh and the region.

    Other matters on the agenda include climate change, trade, and investment opportunities. The Saudi Arabia Development Fund will also be one of the central areas of focus for discussions.


    The Prime Minister will depart St Vincent and the Grenadines tomorrow, Tuesday November 14th and the delegation is expected to return on Friday November 17th.

     The other members of the delegation are:

     Hon. Shackell Bobb Parliamentary-Secretary, Office of the Prime Minister

    Ms. Angie Williams – Permanent Secretary, Office of the Prime MinisterMr. Cecil Harris – Senior Engineer

     Mr. Tony Regisford – Chairman, Invest SVG Board

    Mrs. Janelle Hannaway- Horne ‐ Economist

    IIMs. Avanell Da Silva – CEO, SVG

    Tourism AuthorityMr. Shevrell McMillan – Press Officer, Office of the Prime Minister Sgt.

    Kendal Horne – Security Officer
