    Murder count reaches 52

    Police are on the scene in Belmont where Belmont resident Demron Delplesche was gunned down this morning and becomes this country’s 52nd murder for the year.
    Delplesche died on the spot and according to police a number of spent shells was recovered next to the body.


    The shooting death of the young man is the fourth person to have been shot over the weekend and the second to have died.


    Orlando Guy, 36 year-old and one of two men who were shot during an attack in Edinboro on Saturday morning is said to have succumbed to his injuries while undergoing surgery at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
    Joveka Gaymes was also shot early Saturday morning but was said to be receiving medical attention after being shot in the leg and back.
