The parade will be under the command of Superintendent of Police, Mr. Junior Simmons. Assistant Superintendent of Police, Mrs. Tecla Andrews-Thomas will be the parade adjutant. The Guard of Honour will be comprised of Non- commissioned officers (NCOs) and men from the RSVGPF and the SVG Coast Guard Service.
The Acting Commissioner of Police, Mr. Enville Williams will arrive on parade at 3:45 p.m. The Hon. Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph E. Gonsalves will arrive at 3:50 p.m. and receive a “General Salute”. Her Excellency, the Governor General, Dame Susan Dougan will arrive at 4:08 p.m. and receive a “Royal Salute”.
Following the parade, Her Excellency, the Governor General will deliver the Speech from the Throne. This would be followed by the Budget Speech, to be delivered by Hon. Camillo Gonsalves, Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Information Technology, etc.
