    LOCAL ORGANISING COMMITTEE NOW ACCEPTING VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS FOR THE ICC MEN’S T20 WORLD CUP 2024

    From 1 June to 29 June, St. Vincent and the Grenadines will be among the six Caribbean hosts of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.  To ensure the event is infused with the culture, spirit and desire to represent the essence of the country in this mega tournament, citizens of St. Vincent and the Grenadines are being invited to become volunteers.

    Already, word of the magnitude and scope of the soon to bowl-off tournament has been stirring up an air of excitement and anticipation for the 1 June start.

    Volunteers are essential to the value added to any event and by extension, its success. By volunteering, registrants will gain un-paralleled insight into the thrilling world of cricket events while expanding their event knowledge and meeting the world through its fans.

    To ensure the right fit, applicants should embody excellent service delivery, and a commitment to continued service in the community and country.  In addition, the following minimum requirements apply:

    •            Ability to speak and read English

    •            Education to at least the secondary level

    •            Friendly and positive

    •            Must be a citizen of St. Vincent and the Grenadines

    •            Agreement to wear the official volunteer uniform

    •            18 years old at the time of the vetting

    •            Availability to work the full duration of days required

    •            Availability for training seminar (one day)
