    10 VINCY ATHLETES ATTAIN CARIFTA QUALIFICATIONS IN RECENT TRIALS

    A total of 10 athletes were successful in attaining qualifications in the 2024 TASVG Carifta Trials held on March 9th & 10th, at the Sir Vincent Beache National Stadium.

    These athletes are:

    · J’mar Saunders – U20 Boys 100m

    · Keo Davis – U20 Boys 100m & 200m

    · Ajay Delpesche – U20 Boys 100m & 400m

    · Timothy Williams – U20 Boys 200m

    · Henree-K Francois – U20 Boys 5000m

    · Matthew Robinson – Octathlon

    · Jaheim Williams – Octathlon

    · Shykeina Francis – U17 Girls 200m

    2 athletes made the B qualification standards at the trials. These are Zichri Hepburn in the U20 Boys 1500m and Kessian John in the U17 Girls 1500m.

    In  his 200m event, Keo Davis set a new National U20 Boys Record of 20.87s, which also qualified him for the  World Athletics U20 Championships in Peru, in August.
