The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is investing EC$27 million in the development of cultural hubs at Bellvue, Petite Bordel, and Troumaca. Announced during a CDC press briefing on June 20th, these hubs aim to provide skills training in various aspects of Vincentian culture, with a particular focus on carnival production.

Minister of Tourism and Culture, Hon. Carlos James, emphasized that this investment reflects the government’s commitment to nurturing local talent and preserving cultural heritage. The training offered at these hubs will equip individuals with the skills needed to contribute to and enhance the quality of events like Vincy Mas, ensuring the festival’s future growth and success.
