In a chilling escalation of violence, the homicide count in St. Vincent and the Grenadines has reached 24 this year, following the shooting death of Kimani Richards, also known as “Manny,” in Diamond on Friday night. This marks the sixth killing in just 12 days.
Richards, 46, was fatally shot at the scene near his home. According to initial reports, Richards was socializing with friends at a nearby shop when masked gunmen approached and opened fire. Richards sustained multiple gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries before the assailants fled the scene.
