St. Vincent and the Grenadines has been rocked by two brutal murders within 24 hours, bringing the country’s homicide count for 2024 to 25.

EKron Edwards, a minibus driver, was fatally shot while sitting in the vehicle he used daily to earn a living. This tragedy occurred less than a day after Kimani Richards of Diamond was also gunned down by masked assailants.

Grim photos from the scene depict Edwards’ body hanging from the front of his bus, a stark reminder of the violence that has gripped the nation. Authorities are actively investigating both incidents, seeking to bring those responsible to justice.
