Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Jamaica, and Grenada are set to benefit from a US$60,000 donation from the Government of Chile in response to the damage caused by Hurricane Beryl in July.
The funds, provided through the Chile Fund Against Hunger and Poverty, will be distributed by the Red Cross in each of these Caribbean nations to support recovery efforts.
The Chile Fund, managed by the Chilean Agency for Cooperation and Development (AGCID) in collaboration with the United Nations Development Program/Chile, has been delivering humanitarian aid to disaster-stricken countries since 2011.
