    Police Investigating Fatal Shooting of Rose Hall Man in Petit Bordel

    The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) has provided new details regarding the investigation into the death of Stanron Stapleton, a 29-year-old labourer from Rose Hall, who was fatally shot in Petit Bordel on September 27, 2024.

    According to police reports, Stapleton was on the block in Petit Bordel when he was approached by an unknown gunman. The assailant opened fire, forcing Stapleton to flee into a nearby compound, where he was shot multiple times. Police were called to the scene, where Stapleton was pronounced dead by the District Medical Officer.

    A post-mortem examination conducted on October 3, 2024, revealed that the cause of death was exsanguination resulting from multiple gunshot wounds.

    The RSVGPF has stated that their investigation is ongoing and is urging members of the public with any information that could assist in identifying the shooter to come forward. They emphasized that all tips will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.

    The RSVGPF also extended its condolences to Stapleton’s family and friends as they mourn his untimely death.
