The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority (SVGTA) proudly extends heartfelt congratulations to Trade Winds Experience on the monumental achievement of their 25th anniversary. This milestone, celebrated in grand style in the Grenadines last weekend, honors TradeWinds Experience’s exceptional contributions to the maritime and tourism sectors throughout the Caribbean.

This quarter-century achievement is a testament to their unwavering dedication to delivering premium yachting experiences while showcasing the unparalleled beauty and allure of the Grenadines. What began with a single yacht operation in Bequia has flourished into a world-class fleet synonymous with luxury, adventure, and excellence, drawing visitors from across the globe to explore the pristine waters and enchanting islands of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

During the celebrations, Hon. Carlos James, Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development, and Culture, commended TradeWinds Experience for its pivotal role in elevating the Grenadines as a premier yachting destination.  “TradeWinds’ commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability has not only elevated the profile of the Grenadines as a premier destination but also contributed significantly to the growth of our maritime industry. We look forward to continuing this fruitful partnership as they navigate new horizons and opportunities here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines,” said Minister James.

Looking ahead, SVGTA is excited to further strengthen its collaboration with TradeWinds Experience. One of the upcoming highlights is the highly anticipated launch of Hadali, TradeWinds’ latest innovation—a 100% renewable energy vessel. Hadali will visit the Grenadines in 2025 and will start sailing out of St Vincent and the Grenadines in April. Hadali derived its name from the word meaning “sun,” perfectly symbolizing the vessel’s reliance on renewable energy sources such as solar power, wind, and water. This pioneering addition reflects TradeWinds’ forward-thinking commitment to sustainability.

Moreover, SVGTA is actively working with marine tourism stakeholders to develop a comprehensive calendar of activities designed to enhance visitor experiences across the islands, with St. Vincent and the Grenadines positioning itself as the ultimate destination for yachting and maritime tourism.

The SVGTA continues to nurture valuable maritime partnerships and remains steadfast in its mission to create unforgettable experiences for visitors while fostering sustainable growth within the local tourism industry
