    Regional MSME Matching Grants Programme – Call for Proposals

    The OECS Commission is pleased to inform you that the Regional MSME Matching Grants Programme has launched its first Call for Proposals.
    The Matching Grants Programme aims to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) engaged in various sectors of the blue economy, including coastal and marine tourism, fisheries, and waste management through the provision of grants. 
    The programme falls under the Unleashing the Blue Economy of the Caribbean (UBEC) Project which is being implemented in Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
    The Call for Proposals represents a significant step towards mobilizing resources for impactful transformation of MSMEs within the Blue Economy.

    Are you the owner of a Micro, Small or Medium Enterprise (MSME)?

    The World Bank-funded and OECS-designed Regional MSME Matching Grants Programme aims to boost the potential of MSMEs in the Blue Economy in three islands, Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, Saint Lucia, and Grenada.Individual MSMEs can apply for grants ranging from USD 5,000.00 to USD 25,000.00 if they meet any of the following criteria:

    • Be legally registered and operating in one of the following OECS member states: Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
    • Provide Articles of Incorporation, business name registration, or any other documentation that substantiates the legal character/registration of the entity in the country of operation
    • Have been in operation for at least two (2) years, supported by financial statements or bank statements for the last two years.
    • Promote blue value chains that rely on marine and coastal resources, enhancing economic value and sustainability of the natural capital (blue economy). A track record that indicates potential for business success and competitive advantage.
