    Farmer charged with Assault

    On November 25, 2024, police arrested and charged Conley Ogarro, a 40-year-old Farmer of Campden Park, with the offence of Assault.
    According to investigations, the accused assaulted a 45-year-old resident of the same address by striking her on her left hand with a stone causing Actual Bodily Harm.


    The offence was committed on July 15, 2024, in Campden Park.
    Ogarro appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate Court on November 26, 2024, and pleaded guilty to the charge. He was placed on a bond in the sum of $300.00 ECC, if he defaults, he will pay $300.00 ECC forthwith or spend three months at His Majesty’s Prison. He was also fined $350.00 ECC to be paid by December 31, 2024, failure to do so will result in him spending six months at His Majesty’s Prison.
