      Bequia residents have been charged with assault after allegedly attacking an 18-year-old in Port Elizabeth

    April 24, 2025 – Kingstown:
    Two young men from Cemetery Hill, Bequia, have been jointly charged with Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm following an incident that occurred in early March.

    On April 23, 2025, police arrested and charged Zendi Woodley, 19, and Roy Harry, 16, both Water Taxi Operators, in connection with an assault on an 18-year-old Dishwasher from Port Elizabeth, Bequia. According to police investigations, the accused allegedly struck the victim in the head and slapped him on the left side of his face, resulting in bodily harm.

    The incident reportedly occurred on March 7, 2025, in Port Elizabeth.

    Both Woodley and Harry were granted station bail in the sum of EC$1,500 each, with one surety. They are scheduled to appear before the Bequia Magistrate’s Court on Friday, April 25, 2025, to answer to the charges.
