Police have arrested and charged 21-year-old Lucky Homer, an entrepreneur of  Montrose, with assault causing actual bodily harm. The charge stems from an incident in which Homer is alleged to have physically assaulted a 24-year-old female supervisor from Campden Park, reportedly beating her about the body with his hands.

Homer appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate Court on Monday, May 19, where he pleaded not guilty to the charge. He was granted bail in the sum of EC$2,000 with one surety. As part of his bail conditions, Homer has been ordered not to contact the complainant and must report to the Questelles Police Station every Thursday between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

The matter has been adjourned to January 1, 2026, for trial.
