Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines – In celebration of World Environment Day 2025, the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development and Culture—in collaboration with the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority and the Prime Ministerial Advisory Council on Youth—is thrilled to launch the “Pick Up, Pitch In, Protect Paradise” TikTok Challenge.

This creative, youth-centered digital campaign calls on all Vincentians—especially the younger generation—to showcase their environmental action and community pride through 60-second TikTok videos. Whether it’s organizing a clean-up, recycling, tree planting, reducing plastic use, or spreading awareness about climate change, participants are encouraged to show how they’re making a difference under the campaign theme.

    To Enter:

    1. Create a 60-second TikTok video showing how you’re helping to Pick Up, Pitch In, and Protect Our Paradise.
    2. Tag @experience.svg on TikTok.
    3. Use the hashtag #PickUpPitchInProtectParadiseChallenge.

Prize: The video with the most likes will win an exclusive Day Pass for Two at the luxurious Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Deadline for submission: Friday, June 27, 2025

This challenge is part of a broader effort to foster environmental consciousness and promote sustainable tourism practices across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. By engaging youth through popular platforms like TikTok, the Ministry aims to amplify positive change and inspire civic responsibility.

The Ministry extends heartfelt thanks to its partners—especially the SVG Tourism Authority and the Prime Ministerial Advisory Council on Youth—for their dedication to empowering Vincentians and protecting our natural heritage.
