Leon John of Belmont is the latest suspect taken into custody. He has been formally charged and is expected to be arraigned later today, according to Commissioner of Police Enville Williams, who addressed the media moments ago during a press conference.

The triple homicide deeply unsettled the Belmont community, prompting a sustained investigation by law enforcement. This latest development marks another step forward in efforts to bring all those responsible to justice.

Commissioner Williams emphasized the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force’s determination to pursue every lead and ensure that justice is served.

On Monday, John appeared before the Serious Offences Court charged with three counts of murder in relation to the death of Lesline Davis, a 68-year-old businesswoman; Demeon Cumberbatch, a 38-year-old labourer; and Haynesly Browne, a 30-year-old labourer, all of Belmont.
