A wave of excitement is sweeping across the North Leeward region as the countdown begins for a landmark sporting and cultural event: the first-ever Hairoun Beer North Leeward Beach Football Tournament, set to take place this Sunday, June 29th at Chato Beach, with kick-off scheduled for 2:00 PM.
For the first time in history, villages from across North Leeward will converge on the golden sands of Chato Beach, not just for sun and sea, but to battle it out in a thrilling display of footballing talent and community pride. With a $100 registration fee per team (up to 10 players) and a winner-takes-all cash prize on the line, the stakes are high and the passion is real.
“This is more than just football,” said event coordinator Elron, one of the driving forces behind the tournament. “It’s about unity, vibes, and showcasing the spirit of North Leeward through sport.”
The tournament promises non-stop action, as local players bring their A-game in hopes of being crowned the first-ever North Leeward Beach Football Champions. But the event isn’t just about the matches—when the final whistle blows, the beach transforms into a massive lime, complete with an epic after-party.
