According to the official release, the RSVGPF has “unequivocally condemned” the inappropriate behavior displayed in the footage. In direct response to the incident, Acting Commissioner of Police, Mr. Envill Williams, has launched a comprehensive investigation into the matter.

As part of the investigative process, the two officers involved have been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the inquiry.

“The RSVGPF maintains a steadfast commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity,” the statement emphasized. “Any deviation from these standards is taken seriously and addressed promptly.”

The Police Force also expressed appreciation to the public for its ongoing support and cooperation during this time.

The incident has sparked concern among citizens, many of whom have taken to social media to express outrage and demand accountability. The RSVGPF’s swift response and commitment to transparency will likely be closely monitored in the coming days.
