Police are investigating a report of rape made by a 35-year-old Domestic on behalf of her 14-year-old daughter both of Ottley Hall, on 4th October,2018. According to investigations, on 3rd October, 2018 at Campden Park, an unknown named man had unlawful sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old student, who at the time of the intercourse did not consent to it. Police arrested and charged Iso Lynch, 37 years old Labourer of Layou for the offences of Impersonating a Police Officer and for fraud on the 4th October, 2018.  BELFAST -A two-week-old baby was in a serious condition today after allegedly being raped in Belfast. The baby is in intensive care at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, and a 25-year-old man has been charged with rape and grievous bodily harm with intent. Police arrested and charged Kimron Neverson, a 22 years old Labourer of Redemption Sharpes, for the offense of Wounding. Police investigations revealed that on the 24th August, 2018 about 9:40pm, the defendant unlawfully and maliciously wounded a woman also of Redemption Sharpes, by shooting her on the right side of her head with a gun. Neverson was also charged for having in his possession a firearm without a license issued under the firearms act. Neverson is expected to appear before the serious offences court to answer to the charges.

Police are investigating a homicide which occurred about 8:30pm on the 3rd of October, 2018 in the vicinity of a bar in Union Island. Preliminary investigations revealed that Kareem Bowens, a 23 years old man, received a single gunshot wound to his chest. He was taken to the Union Island Hospital where he succumbed to the injury. A young man from Penniston is currently in police custody assisting the police with their investigation. A post mortem examination will be conducted on the body to ascertain the cause of death.
