Police have arrested and charged Amos Bascombe, 60 years old Farmer of Carriere with Grievous Bodily Harm on 19.02.19. The accused on the 02.09.17 at Carriere, allegedly inflected grievous bodily harm on a 45-year-old farmer of the same address by beating him about the body with a piece of iron, at Carriere on 02.09.17. He is expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer the charges.

The accused was charged after allegedly robbing a 20-year-old Cashier of Peruvian Vale at gun point and stole a quantity of items valued five thousand eight hundred dollars (EC$5,800.00). The accused also allegedly robbed a 20-year-old Unemployed of North Union and stole a quantity of items valued one thousand and seventy-three dollars (EC$1073.00).
