A mother and her two sons are in police custody assisting with the investigation of the attack on a Cuban doctor on Friday evening. The doctor, who has since been identified as Alfredo Baptista Salgado the District Medical Officer Marriaqua, was attacked and suffered severe injury to his abdomen. He was returning home from the Calypso Semifinals that was held at the Victoria Park. According to reports, the sons were arrested first and the mother was taken into custody about an hour after.
