The Roads, Buildings and General Services Authority (BRAGSA) will commence an 8-day long road cleaning programme on Tuesday August 9, 2022. The island-wide initiative, will see the employment of over 6,000 persons in all fifteen constituencies. This will include 491 gangs and 1,000 Jobbers, who will be responsible for the cleaning of roads and drains, as well as the cutting of trees. Healthcare workers across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines are now being required to take Covid-19 boosters at five (5)-month intervals in order to be eligible for employment in the health sector. The move was announced in an August 5, 2022, memorandum to staff from the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment.
