Zimrom Richards and Darius Bynoe both died Two men were killed and another wounded in a drive-by shooting in the Block2000 area of Old Montrose on Thursday evening . The shooting incident occurred on the block next to the Singer Building at about 9: 45 pm. The Forestry Department is increasing its vigilance in protecting two endemic species from being poached and traded illegally. According to Acting Forestry Supervisor Bradford Latham, the Pink Rhino Iguana and the Union Island Gecko found mainly in the Grenadines are being hunted and poached. Endemic species are protected under law and Latham said legislation is being revisited to increase the penalties for offenders. Latham also indicated that the Forestry Department is working closely with the Tobago Cays Marine Park and an NGO (non-Governmental Organisation), called the Union Island Environmental Alliance to monitor what is happening within wildlife reserves.

Police have opened an investigation into the discovery of Marijuana found in several boxes of cargo last Sunday afternoon to be shipped to Barbados.According to reports reaching Asberth News Network, the boxes were registered in a produce trafficker’s name from Central Leeward.
