Minibus operator Julian Richards of Diamond was this week freed on charges of rape and indecent assault, after the complainants in the matter refused to testify against him.The complainants are said to be twin sisters, who were both 15-year-old students at the time of the report. Richards was charged with raping one of the girls, and indecently assaulting the other. Thirty-seven (37) new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from 178 samples collected on Tuesday November 9, 2021, resulting in a positivity of 20.8 per cent. Fifteen (15) new rapid antigen positive results were reported from flu clinics on November 9th, 2021. Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves continues to monitor the pace of vaccination against COVID-19 in St Vincent and the Grenadines as the November 19 deadline for specific frontline workers approaches.
