The Roads, Buildings and General Services Authority (BRAGSA) has completed the renovation of the Soroptimist International Comfort Station in Heritage Square, Kingstown. The project saw the replacement of toilets and wash basins, along with the construction of a counter and a baby change station in the female bathroom. Work was also done on the roof, and a perimeter fence was erected. In addition, BRAGSA painted and carried out electrical work on the building. The Comfort Station is scheduled to be re-opened tomorrow.

GENEVA (AP) — Russia will not be able to use its name, flag and anthem at the next two Olympics or at any world championships for the next two years after a ruling Thursday by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. The period is now set to end on April 15; the original date was January 15. The Roads, Buildings and General Services Authority (BRAGSA) has completed a road repairs project in the community of Diamond, South Central Windward. The project saw the resurfacing of 2,700 feet of road from “Daddy Gus” bus shed upwards, along with the construction of 1,133 feet of Slipper and Swale drains. In addition, BRAGSA constructed two retaining walls – a 326 feet long block wall and a 464 feet long rubble wall. The project was carried out a cost of $579,000. It lasted four months.
