Police have arrested and charged Larry Abbott, 38 years old farmer of Green Hill with the offence of wounding on 31.10.2020. According to investigations, the Accused allegedly wounded a 32 year old farmer also of Green Hill by shooting him in his neck with a fish gun. The incident occurred about 10:30pm on 30.10.2020 The Accused appeared before the Serious Offences Court to answer to the charge and pleaded not guilty. He was remanded into custody. The matter was adjourned to Wednesday, November 4th, 2020 for bail review.

Effective today, Tuesday, November 3, 14 more countries will be added to the list of those deemed high risk for COVID-19 by health authorities in Barbados, bringing the total number in this category to 50. In the latest updated COVID-19 travel protocols, the new countries which have moved into high risk are Antigua and Barbuda, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Iceland, Japan, Martinique, Norway, Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates. The Roads, Buildings and General Services Authority (BRAGSA) has completed the construction of 26 ramps at designated polling stations island-wide. This as BRAGSA teams up with the Electoral Office to get the polling stations fully functional for elections slated for November 5, 2020.
