Last Saturday saw the return of the Bomb Competition for steel orchestras here. Rolled out in a virtual format, it was the turn of the South East Steel Orchestra to take winning kudos. The orchestra rendered an Akeam Hanaway arranged interpretation of the song ‘Dancing Queen’, a perennial favourite by ABBA, to defeat five other steel orchestras. The Roads, Buildings and General Services Authority (BRAGSA) has conducted soil testing at the decommissioned E.T Joshua Airport for the newly proposed hospital building. Percolation tests were carried out to determine the water absorption rate of the soil. The results will be used to design the septic system.
