St. Vincent and the Grenadines today reported seven (7) new positive cases from one hundred and seventy-five (175) samples received and processed on Monday March 8, 2021, resulting in a positivity rate of 4%. Seven (7) persons were cleared bringing the number of total recoveries to eleven hundred and seven (1107). On 09.03.2021 about 08:45 a.m. Officers stationed at the St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) Coast Guard Service in Calliaqua received a report of what appeared to be a body floating offshore in the waters at Villa. The SVG Coast Guard Service responded and retrieved the unresponsive body from the water in the vicinity off Young Island and Rock Fort.
