A GUITAR owned by reggae king Bob Marley sold for a whopping US$153,600 at the December 1-2 Julien’s Auctions’ annual Icons and Idols Trilogy: Rock and Roll, which took place in Beverly Hills, California. The guitar, a 1975 Ovation 1612-4 Custom Balladeer acoustic-electric, features a natural spruce top and shallow back and ebony fingerboard. It was estimated to fetch between US$80,000 and US$100,000. Two years and four months after Spiritual Baptist Bishop and travel agent Ian Enoch’s blood-stained was discovered in a hut at the Cayo Village – a reconstructed Carib village outside the Argyle International Airport – the man accused of his murder has pleaded guilty. Twenty-seven-year-old Anwar Jack of Georgetown, charged that between August 17th and 18th, 2018, he caused the death of Ian Enoch by an unlawful act, pleaded guilty to the charge last week during his arraignment. Jack was further remanded into custody following his plea. His sentencing is adjourned to December 18th, 2020, pending a social inquiry report.…

Police attached to the Major Crime Unit (MCU) and at the Biabou Police Station in the South Central Division have launched investigations into three (3) separate incidents. (1) About 3:50 am on 5.12.2020, a group of three (3) individuals (two males and one female) left a popular night club in Arnos Vale and were heading towards a motor vehicle that was parked inside the yard of the night club.
