A 26-year-old man who forced himself on an 8-year-old girl seven years ago, will know his fate at the High Court Criminal Assizes on December 3. A 9-member mixed Jury on Monday 23rd November, had found Kawanie Williams of Green Hill guilty of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a girl under the age of 13, but sentencing was adjourned. The new case is a returning national who arrived with a negative RT-PCR test result from the USA on Saturday November 21, 2020 on American Airlines, tested negative on entry screening and on day five (5) tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes COVID-19. More than a million Americans traveled via plane on the day before Thanksgiving — the highest number since the COVID-19 pandemic exploded in March, new statistics show. Figures released by the Transportation Security Administration show that 1,070,967 travelers went through US screening checkpoints Wednesday, down from 2,624,250 in 2019.
