A letter was published in the media on Thursday July 9th 2020 entitled ‘Yambou Road Needs Serious Attention’ and on the Friday 10th of July it was exhibited with the caption ‘Fix Yambou Road Before Catastrophe Strikes’. I dreamt that the authorities had graciously spent a generous sum to fix the road. After that they placed three to six blue collar engineers looking over diligently to keep commuters safe. For this we are very grateful. In more recent times, there has been lots of rain between mid to end of October and the freak storm on the 29th of November.…

Then when Sir Louis Straker was made Deputy Prime Minister in 2015, Peter Binose wrote in 2015 and pointed out that there was legally no such position and therefore no such office. There was no Constitutional provision whatsoever for such a position to be occupied or even to be established, there was total silence they ignored Binose, made no reply. There were many instances then, and since, of ignoring the Constitution and doing whatever they liked, even if unconstitutional. Many of the things Binose brought…

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — President Donald Trump is facing pressure to cooperate with President-elect Joe Biden’s team to ensure a smooth transfer of power when the new administration takes office in January. The General Services Administration is tasked with formally recognizing Biden as president-elect, which begins the transition. But the agency’s Trump-appointed administrator, Emily Murphy, has not started the process and has given no guidance on when she will do so. Prime Minister Gaston Browne called on his fellow regional Heads of Government to re-think their participation in the OECS travel bubble. Grenada and St. Kitts & Nevis are two states in the sub-grouping to publicly withdraw from the bubble. “I think it is a nonsensical decision and I do hope my colleagues will reconsider their decision,” Browne told Pointe FM yesterday. The bubble would have allowed OECS nationals to travel in participating states without the need to mandatory quarantine. Prime Minister Browne says he does not understand the decision of his colleagues since the negative PCR test is still required.…

The November 3, 2020, presidential election was arguably the most important election in USA postwar history. In these elections, moreover, the participation of American voters was the largest since 1900, demonstrating the resurgence of their political interest and the strongly polarizing climate that prevailed in the country. Αt the same time Joe Biden may have won the popular vote (4.5 million more votes than Trump) and the necessary electors, but Donald Trump has shown great resilience, having in fact against him almost all the media, the vast majority of Hollywood and the whole established. These elections showed the deep division…

Obvious to us, the election season has to an end; The results were declared and the winner was announced. As a first time voter, I took the time out to watch and observe. I attended rallies of the Unity Labour Party (ULP) as I did for the New Democratic Party (NDP) as well as I used social media platforms to watch and observe. Over the past couple weeks, it has dawned on me just how lawless and non-chalant we are to the things that matter and we forget that people are in fact watching us. In the 2015 elections, I…
