Police have arrested and jointly charged a juvenile along with Lee Mervyn Slater, 19 years old Student both of Green Hill with the offence of Wounding on 30.04.2020. According to investigations, both assailants allegedly wounded a 46 years old Gardener of the same address by stabbing him about his body with an unknown object. Anse La Raye police arrested a total of 45 individuals who were attending a ‘river lime’ Sunday, law enforcement officials have confirmed. Videos posted on social media showed men and women, some with bath towels and dressed in bathing attire, walking behind an unmarked police vehicle with at least one armed police officer bringing up the rear. A law enforcement official said a number of children who were also present at the riverside event were transported in police vehicles. St. Vincent and the Grenadines has recorded its seventeenth (17) positive COVID- 19 case according to reports received from the Caribbean Public Health Agency CARPHA. This case is part of the cluster whose first case was reported on April 21, 2020, and was identified as part of an aggressive contact tracing and testing campaign.
