Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of Edward Alexis, 28 years old Labourer of Trigger Ridge, Redemption Sharpes on approximately 9:43pm on 15.03.2020. According to investigations, the deceased man was allegedly shot once to his head by an unknown assailant as he approached the gate to his home. Schools across St Vincent the Grenadines will close one week ahead of the normal Easter vacation as at the end of the school day on Friday March 20th, 2020. The decision was taken by the Government following consultation with the heads of Secondary and primary schools both public and private as well as pre-schools both public and private.
