The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is receiving financial support from the Republic of China on Taiwan, for its Tourism Development Project on the leeward side of the island. In this regard, a 50-Million US dollar Loan Agreement will be signed this Tuesday April 2nd during a ceremony which begins at 11:00am. The Agreement will be signed between the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the Republic of China on Taiwan. The funds will be used for construction of the 250-Room Hotel at Mt. Wynne/Peters Hope. The signing ceremony takes place at Cabinet Room.

The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is receiving support from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), to boost its ongoing efforts to tackle climate change. The Board of Directors of the CDB has approved financing of 13.4 million U.S Dollars to enhance resilience of Sandy Bay and other North Windward communities to coastal hazards and the potential impacts of climate change.
