{"id":1201,"date":"2018-11-28T08:51:52","date_gmt":"2018-11-28T08:51:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/annsvg.com\/?p=1201"},"modified":"2018-11-28T08:51:52","modified_gmt":"2018-11-28T08:51:52","slug":"public-servants-successfully-complete-the-2015-2018-public-service-development-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/annsvg.com\/index.php\/2018\/11\/28\/public-servants-successfully-complete-the-2015-2018-public-service-development-programme\/","title":{"rendered":"Public Servants Successfully Complete the (2015-2018) Public Service Development Programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Three batches with a total of one hundred and thirteen public servants received certificates of completion after successfully completing the Public Service Development programme 2015 \u2013 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The closing ceremony for the programme was held at the National Insurance Conference Room on Friday, November 23rd, 2018 under the theme: \u201cReach for the stars while serving from the heart.\u201d   The programme lasted six months and covered a variety of aspects within the public service.   <\/p>\n<p>Chairman of the Police and Public Service Commissions, Cecil \u201cBlazer\u201d Williams delivered the feature address and said, \u201cthe mind is a critical factor in determining whether you succeed or whether you refuse to succeed.\u201d   The Chairman added that the surest way to fulfilling one\u2019s ambition is to extend and develop one\u2019s knowledge about the work being done.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Williams further noted that the programme is part of the developmental process which one must build on, in pursuit of one\u2019s ambition.  He urged public servants to persevere to gain success and encourage graduates to build an environment of love not favoritism.<\/p>\n<p>Acting Chief Personnel Officer \u2013 Mrs. Arlene Regisford-Sam said the programme was geared at providing knowledge on the regulations and general functions of the public service and successful participants must at least have a pass mark of seventy percent.
