The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment wishes to advise the general public that as part of the its mosquito control programme for the adult Aedesaegypti mosquito, the Insect Vector Control Unit will be conducting fogging operations in the following areas commencing 5:30 pm daily.<\/p>\n

Monday, 14th September, 2020 – Redemption Sharpes
\nTuesday, 15th September, 2020 – Paul Over, Kingstown Park
\nWednesday, 16th September, 2020 – Richmond Hill, Murray Village
\nThursday, 17th September, 2020 – Chilli, Georgetown<\/p>\n

Home and business owners in the named areas are reminded to keep their windows and doors open to allow the fog to eliminate the adult mosquitoes inside the home.<\/p>\n

Motorists are kindly asked to take caution.<\/p>\n

Persons who are suffering from any respiratory illnesses are kindly asked to take the necessary precautionary measures.
\nResidents are also encouraged to prevent the breeding of mosquitoes in their yard and to protect themselves and their family from mosquito bites during the day, early morning and early evening.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
