{"id":2296,"date":"2019-01-23T12:46:44","date_gmt":"2019-01-23T12:46:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/annsvg.com\/?p=2296"},"modified":"2019-01-23T12:46:51","modified_gmt":"2019-01-23T12:46:51","slug":"woman-100-years-wants-licence-for-medicinal-marijuana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/annsvg.com\/index.php\/2019\/01\/23\/woman-100-years-wants-licence-for-medicinal-marijuana\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman 100 years wants licence for medicinal marijuana"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As government puts the\nmachinery in place to operationalize the medicinal marijuana industry, 100-year\nold Olive Comas of Lowmans Hill (Leeward) says she wants her licence to begin\ncultivating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The centenarian, who\ncelebrated her milestone birthday last Saturday, expressed her desire to be in\nthe medicinal marijuana business during an interview at her home on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The elderly woman, who\nhas very good recollection and is in tune with current issues, said that if\ngranted the licence would make land space around he home available by halting\nfood crop production there and she would also cultivate on lands she has in the\nmountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Listen to me, I\nhear they&#8217;re going to take out licence for marijuana.And, if I live, I will\nsend and get my licence,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Asked by visiting West\nKingstown opposition Member of Parliament Daniel Cummings, her constituency\nrepresentative, if she wanted to plant marijuana too, the centenarian who has\nan amazing sense of humour, replied: &#8220;Eh? Right &#8217;round the yard. Me nah want\nno more cabbage. Me nah want no more chive.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As laughter erupted,\nthe elderly woman added that she would plant along with her grand daughter\nMichelle Williams whose husband would be expected to supply the seeds. She\nnoted that she would send her grandson to apply for the licence on her behalf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I just want the\nlicence. Wey me want with cabbage and chive and peas?
