The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment wishes to advise the general public that as
\npart of the its mosquito control programme for the adult Aedes aegypti mosquito, the Insect Vector
\nControl Unit will be conducting fogging operations in the following areas commencing at 5:00 pm
\ndaily on the island of St. Vincent.<\/p>\n
Monday, 25 th April 2022 \u2013 Glen, Lowmans, Langley Park, Champmans, New Adelphi & Layou
\nTuesday, 26 th April 2022 \u2013 Glen, Chauncey, Bay Road, Biabou & Layou
\nWednesday, 27 th April 2022 \u2013 Glen, Rillian Hill, Caratel, Biabou & Layou
\nThursday, 28 th April 2022 \u2013 Glen, Rillian Hill, Spring, Valley, Bridgetown & Layou
\nPlease take note of the following:<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Home and business owners in the named areas are reminded to keep their windows and
\ndoors open to allow the fog to take effect.
\n\uf0b7 Motorists are kindly asked to take caution.
\n\uf0b7 Persons who are suffering from any respiratory illnesses are kindly asked to take the
\nnecessary precautionary measures.<\/p>\n
\uf0b7 Residents are also encouraged to prevent the breeding of mosquitoes in their yard and to
\nprotect themselves from mosquito bites during the day.
\n\uf0b7 Members of the public are reminded that the completion of the scheduled fogging activities
\nmay be affected by events beyond the control of the Unit. In such circumstances, the Unit
