Specific topics will\ninclude design of urban spaces, development of business and financial models to\nfund urban investments, optimization of transportation systems, and management\nof disaster and climate risks.&nbsp; This\nstrategy workshop aligns with the ongoing Regional Disaster Vulnerability\nReduction Project which aims to improve quality of life for Vincentians,\nincrease resilience and catalyze inclusive economic growth.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\nobjectives of the workshop are: to contribute to technical and financial\nstrategies for resilient urban development in Arnos Vale and Kingstown and to\nreceive inputs from stakeholders to guide a list of priority actions and implementation\nin the short-term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The\nworkshop is being held in collaboration with the World Bank Group, with funding\nfrom the European Union\/African Caribbean Pacific (EU\/ACP)\u2013 &#8211; Natural Disaster Risk Reduction Program and will take\nplace at the NIS Conference Room. Participants will include representatives\nfrom public and private sector entities, academia and civil society.
