\u00a0 World Pediatrics\u2019 General Orthopedics was back in St. Vincent on September 7th 2025 to complete yet another clinic at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (\u201cMCMH\u201d). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to this, the team was expanded to include a specialized Orthopedic Hand Team which placed its emphasis on cases surrounding the arms, hands and fingers. The General Orthopedic team evaluated sixty-one (61) children on this trip, marking an increase from the fifty-three (53) children seen on their previous trip in June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Orthopedic Hand team evaluated thirty-six (36) children.\u00a0 The total group of children seen at clinic were from St. Vincent and neighboring islands such as Barbados, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, Dominica and Grenada.\u00a0
Team leader on the trip was Dr. Eric Gordon joined by Dr. Lindley Wall who led the Hand team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


Accompanying Dr. Gordon was Dr. Javad Shariati \u2013 Orthopedic Fellow, Dr. Judy Nguyen \u2013
Anesthesiologist, Melissa Eagan and Scott Baileigh \u2013 Nurses RN, Tracy Przybylski \u2013 Physical Therapist, Trent Taylor and Patricia Belcher \u2013 OrthoPediatrics Representatives.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accompanying Dr. Wall was Dr. Julie Drobish \u2013 Anesthesiologist, Dr. Pradeep Attaluri \u2013 Orthopedic Hand Fellow, Hannah Gift \u2013 Occupational Therapist, and Jennifer Jensen \u2013 Nurse RN. Local support was provided by Dr. Jasmine Davy-Ellis, Dr. Dwight Richards, Janelle Ballah and some staff and OR Nurses from the MCMH.\u00a0
With the sponsorship of The Tawani Foundation as well as The Touching Hands Foundation, and the hard work of the staff, volunteers and medical professionals, ten (10) general orthopedic surgeries and fifteen (15) orthopedic hand surgeries were successfully completed within a 4-day period between Monday September 8th and Thursday September 11th 2025.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
