Partly Cloudy and Hazy Conditions Expected Across St. Vincent and the Grenadines This Afternoon<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Meteorological Office at the Argyle International Airport is reporting partly cloudy and hazy conditions across St. Vincent and the Grenadines as of midday on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, with temperatures reaching 29.6\u00b0C and relative humidity at 69 percent.<\/p>\n

A weak ridge pattern is currently the dominant weather feature over the islands. For the remainder of the afternoon and into the evening, the forecast calls for fair to occasionally cloudy skies with haze, breezy conditions at times, and a few isolated showers. Winds are expected from the east-southeast to east-northeast at 20 to 30 km\/h.<\/p>\n

No weather advisories or warnings are in effect. However, the Met Office is urging small-craft operators and sea-bathers to exercise caution due to above-normal swells and occasional gusty winds. Sea conditions are moderate in open water, with swells ranging from 1.5 to 2.0 metres.<\/p>\n

Barometric pressure stands at 1015.9 millibars, with just 0.1 millimetres of rainfall recorded over the past 24 hours. Yesterday’s maximum temperature was 30.2\u00b0C, while last night’s minimum dipped to 23.7\u00b0C.<\/p>\n
