This is a pivotal executive position responsible for the holistic management of the company\u2019s diverse portfolio, including land sales, property development, farm operations, and the oversight of the Joshua Centre.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The <b>General Manager <\/b>will report directly to the Board of Directors and ensure that policies are effectively and efficiently implemented and articulated to the staff, as well as manage the business of NPL with the greatest level of transparency and accountability in keeping with acceptable legal and professional standards.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p>The <b>General Manager <\/b>oversees all facets of the company\u2019s operations, with primary focus areas including:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Strategic Leadership<\/b>: Preparation and presentation of the company\u2019s strategic plan; implementation of Key Results Expectations (KRE) as assigned by the Board.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Real Estate &amp; Leases<\/b>: Orchestrating land sale marketing strategies; reviewing lease agreements, rates, and terminations; and ensuring all lease obligations are met.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Operational Oversight<\/b>: Direct supervision of farm operations and the Operations Manager; ensuring maintenance, repairs, and security protocols are upheld across all company assets.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Financial Stewardship: <\/b>Monitoring revenue and expenses to ensure financial viability; ensuring full compliance with financial regulations and timely filing of Audited Financial Statements.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Team Management: <\/b>Authorizing HR functions including salaries and leave; convening monthly senior management meetings to ensure departmental synergy.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Governance<\/b>: Preparing and reviewing all essential documentation for Board of Directors\u2019 meetings, including minutes and financial statements.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>KEY REQUIREMENTS<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s Degree and preferably a Master\u2019s degree in Business Management, Property Management, Economics or a related field;<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience in business management, project management and or commercial properties management and development;<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>A high degree of independence and good judgement in interpreting and applying policies, rules and regulations in achieving desired results;<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to independently analyze, propose and implement solutions to complex land and commercial property matters and development initiatives;<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Excellent personnel and communication skills;<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>COMPENSATION<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p>A competitive executive remuneration and benefits package will be offered to the successful candidate.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The ideal candidate &#8211;
